Updating RCM 2.5.8
Instructions for updating Roland Cloud Manager 2.5.8
At Roland Cloud, we are constantly improving our systems and software to make things easier for our users. Our update flow from Roland Cloud Manager 2.5.8 to RCM 2.5.9 is a little different due to significant security upgrades and authentication refinements that will keep you in an uninterrupted flow.
To upgrade Roland Cloud Manager 2.5.8, click the library tab and hit install on Roland Cloud Manager 2.5.9 updater, as shown below.
Roland Cloud Manager will download the updater as it would any other instrument. After the download is complete, you'll be prompted to install the new version of RCM. It's that easy. Once the installation is complete, make sure you have the latest version of RCM by clicking the about button in the lower left-hand corner.
RCM 2.5.9 comes equipped with an authorization and authentication overhaul that includes, faster loading times for plugins, streamlined interactions between your instruments & Roland Cloud Manager, and improved behaviors & communications with the Roland Cloud server.
