At Roland Cloud, we continually improve our systems and software to make things easier for our users. GALAXIAS 1.4. offers new functionality and performance updates. You can update directly within GALAXIAS via the notification bell. These kinds of GALAXIAS core updates are only between 12-35 MB, depending on platform, and don't require an entirely new download within RCM. Check out some of the new features below.

Instrument Macro Maps

Have you ever opened an instrument in GALAXIAS and wanted to start tweaking parameters right away, without loading a Scene or doing any manual mapping? Say hello to Instrument Macro Maps! Instrument Macro Maps load automatically anytime you add an instrument to your Scene, giving you immediate access to your favorite parameters. We’ve included default maps for all 33 instrument plug-ins in GALAXIAS.

You’ll find Instrument Macro Maps in the same place you find Scene Macros. Just tap the new “Instrument” tab next to the “Scene” tab. Unlike Scene Macros, Instrument Macros are linked directly to the loaded instrument and only map to one parameter at a time.

You can also customize the Instrument Macro Map for any instrument. Just press the Macro Edit button to create your own maps and set the defaults to whatever you like! GALAXIAS will automatically recall the last used map for any instrument.
