GALAXIAS 1.3 introduces new foundational features, including Scene View, CHORDS, and the experimental GALAXIAS Labs. Here’s a deeper look at what’s new:

Scene View.
Get a fully immersive, top-down view of your GALAXIAS Scenes. Optimized for speed and comfort, the new Scene View lets you see and tweak vital controls from multiple layers at once.

Command and control.
While you can control each layer independently and use macro controls to adjust multiple layers, the new Scene View takes things to a new level. With custom graphics, control groups, and new control types, you can immerse yourself in a single view designed specifically to shape and manipulate the current Scene or Scene Pack.

Meet CHORDS (a new sequencer effect)

CHORDS, our new GALAXIAS sequencer, brings an immensely creative force to fuel your creative workflow. With CHORDS, you’re now able to design, trigger, and sequence up to 12 chord presets, complete with customizable articulations and more.

Chord Edit

You can define and customize each chord’s voicing, including root note, mode, inversion, and more.

And there are three kinds of articulations—Keys, Strummer, and Arpeggiator— that are also fully customizable.

Chord Sequence

In addition to triggering chords with a MIDI controller, you can also sequence chord progressions by dragging and dropping chords in any order on the sequencer tab. There are eight customizable patterns that can be set from one to four bars and can each contain multiple chords. And for further creative development, you can drag chords or patterns directly to your DAW timeline.

GALAXIAS Labs (coming soon)

As GALAXIAS evolves at an ever-rapid pace, we’ll give curious users the ability to enable new experimental features via GALAXIAS Labs.

The Labs option will appear in GALAXIAS settings as soon as we launch our first experiment, so if you don't see it, just sit tight and stay tuned. A transmission is incoming...

NOTE: While discovering a GALAXIAS Labs experiment, you may be intrigued by the possibilities, but be prepared for a sometimes bumpy ride. Experiments are…well…experimental, so this means they may have bugs, glitches, or other issues that could affect your experience. Have fun, but expect the unexpected.
